All are welcome to join us at our Annual Celebrating Avon Festival at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library! This is a free, family-friendly event that is open to the public. Celebrating Avon takes place inside the library and outside in the lawn and parking lot. There will be music, food, a petting zoo, games, a "Pioneer Path" featuring artisans who will teach us about their crafts, tractors, model trains, a K9 demonstration, a giant slide, and of course a candy drop by Hendricks Power Cooperative! We will Ring the bell to kick-off the event at 11 a.m. Please join us inside the library at 11:30 a.m. as we honor an "Everyday Hero," Rex McClain. 

Parking:  You may park at the library, 498 N Avon Ave., Avon , IN 46123. 

Tickets:  You don't need a ticket-- there is free entry to this event.

Who and what will be at Celebrating Avon 2023? 

  • City Ranch Petting Zoo (11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.)
  • Honoring an Everyday Hero, Rex McClain 11:30 a.m.
  • Candy Drop courtesy of Hendricks Power Cooperative 1:00  p.m. 
  • PRIZES and GIVEAWAYS 1:30 p.m. 
  • Avon Police Department K9 Demonstration 2 p.m. (time is subject to change)
  • Hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks and chips will be available for purchase.

Free Admission! This is a free, family-friendly event. Food will be available for purchase, and local artisans and vendors will be selling their wares.
